Talk about 'borrowing' supplies from your company! This guy who was a sysadmin for the US Naval Research Lab was found to have pilfered $1.6 million worth of stuff over his 10 years of employment. I just wonder how such things went unnoticed for 10 years.
We all have seen people visit the office supply cabinet at work only to stuff a few pens or some whiteout into their purse or pocket, but in this case we are talking gear. I'm not sure how he pulled it off but he sure is lucky he didn't steal anything that was classified or he would be facing a much harsher penalty that is currently proposed for him.
