Keep it Personal

I think that people today rely on their computers too much. I got an email from my cousin inviting me to his graduation party. First of all, I may not have even seen in in my inbox amidst all the spam and secondly, what happened to personal invitations with hand written notes.

I know that it is time consuming but it lets people know that you care. Plus, it is fun to choose personal stationery. It gives a fun touch to letters and invitations and shows people that you have taken time and thought about them. I know others feel the same way.

Letter Writing is Still in Style

People told me for years that I was old fasioned because I enjoyed writing letters to my friends an family rather that sending an impersonal email. According to a DayTimers survey, more people than I thought also still enjoy writing letters.

I love to keep in touch and I think it makes people feel good to get things in the mail besides bills and credit card offers. I also like to use fun stationary and pretty colored pens for a personal touch.
