Don't forget to recycle your cardboard too!

I recently moved and had over 200 empty cardboard boxes that I had no idea what to do with. I didn't just want to throw them away so I tried to research ways to recycle them. I actually got a lot of info here, Recycle cardboard moving boxes - Living - The Olympian - Olympia, Washington.

I never knew but there are actually companies that take back boxes that are lightly used. So if you are moving, please think about recycling your cardboard.

Go Green At the Office

Whether you have a home office or work in a large corporate office, you should be making an effort to recycle and do your part to reduce your carbon footprint. Some great tips for this can be found at Design a Green Home Office. Things you can do are buy recycled products, unplug things when possible and reuse or donate old furniture to charity.

It is important, especially now to reduce the amount of waste that goes into our landfills and you can start in the office. Using green supplies really isn't all that hard and it is great for the environment.
