I am an employer that is really getting sick and tired of my passive employees that claim they do not want to play the game of office politics. Well, news flash, it IS necessary. They think that they will advance just by being nice to everyone and doing what they are told by people who are not their superiors.
They really need a reality check because I need to have help that can sell an idea to a client. Our idea, not what a client may twist it around to be in the end. So many deals have gone bad that way. If you have employees that get kicked around and don't mind tell them to read this, Office politics: How to play the game - CNN.com.
