NAU Jumps on the Green Bandwagon

By News Minder at 05/28/08 10:38

More universities around the country should be taking efforts like those of Northern Arizona University. They have recently made some changes that will better our environment.

Changes like florescent light bulbs and recycled paper are among the list of things they have done to better the environment and reduce their carbon footprint. All custodial paper towels and even trash can liners are recycled.

Best of all, the university has purchased an electric forklift to replace their old propane fueled one. More schools should follow this example. To read more about the efforts of NAU go to Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff Arizona; Prospective Students.
