Clear With Computers Sues Apple

Apple has got a lawsuit on their hands. A small company, Clear With Computers, is suing Apple and Hewlett-Packard for patent infringements on some online technology. The technology was supposedly for online checkouts that handle payments and allow customers to view products.

Now these were patents from way back in the dark ages of 1994 and 1997. First of all, isn't there a time limit for when patents run out due to advances in technology.
